Today I flagged off equity bank sponsorship dubbed “wings to fly” to bright but needy students across Migori county. The bank is sponsoring 30 students from Migori County with each and every sub county represented. My office is also doing the same sponsorship where we sponsor bright but needy students who have achieved a mean grade of 350 marks and above. With this type of sponsorship, we will be able to improve the level of education in the county and give the needy students chance to realize their dreams of learning. As a county government we are committed to support our teachers who have also made it possible for the students to achieve their dreams. As a former teacher, I understand the problems our teachers undergo and I will always support them if they need better treatment.
