Today I found a diamond, just glinting in the sun It was bright and precious, there was just the one I knelt to have a closer look, it was sparkling brightly clear and shining , delicate, balancing lightly Today I found a diamond, I had been walking past I marveled at how nature put it on that blade of grass I rose and stood and watched it as it slowly disappeared Like anything I hoped for, or everything I feared Today I found a diamond, many had I missed before Ill be there tomorrow, again Ill kneel in awe
