Today I found out that a teacher of mine has passed away. Mark Fahlberg from Century High School died of a massive heart attack I was told. For those who know me from century or knew me as Billy Anderson, know the nick name "Bumblbe bee" which Mr. Fahlberg gave to me in seventh grade. When I first came to Jr. High I decided to dress out for P.E. in black bell bottoms and a yellow and black striped long sleeve shirt for a joke and to go to computer lab. Remember this was in 1983 so bell bottoms were not in then. Mr. Fahlberg laughed and said that I was to dress out in this outfit till I graduated and I did till 1988. That was only 25 years ago but people still call me "bumblbe bee"and I feel young again and think about that outfit. Mr. Fahlberg was a great man, nice, and had a great sense of humor. I was blessed to know Mr. Fahlberg and I will miss him greatly till we meet again. My thoughts are with his wife and their two boys.
