Today I found out that my hearing bones are eroded (in my left ear). Most likely that is what is causing the constant infections. On May 8th I go into a three hour surgery to reconstruct my hearing bones, patch the hole in my ear drum, clean out the gunk in my mastoid, and to have a tube placed in. It will be about a four day recovery time with full recovery in two weeks. Right now I am asking for prayers to keep away any infection that may prevent this surgery! I feel positive that everything has fallen in place for a reason and am really hopeful. I am thankful that my new Ear Doctor is very confident this will fix the problem and hopefully allow me to recover some of the lost hearing. Any prayers or positive thoughts will be greatly appreciated!
