Today I gave my angel back to heaven. Serissa was 14.5 yrs old and gave me joy every day. She was my shadow, my co-pilot, my best friend and a big reason for my smiles every day. Serissa was with me throughout vet school, came with me to work in general practice and greeted me with love when I would return home from helping families with their loved ones. I was immensely blessed to have had her in my life and I will continue to smile when I think of her every day. Heaven is very lucky today!
