Today I got a text from 4155311298@vtext that read the following: ([CitiBank]) PleaseContactSecDept@(916)760-1075 Not only does it already look like a scam, I dont even have a CitiBank account. But to be sure, I called it. Sure enough, it says something about your debit card being compromised and asks you to push 1. It doesnt actually need you to push 1, it just waits a few seconds, then asks you to put in your 16 digit card number. So instead of just ignoring it, I called the CitiBank customer service line to tell them about it. The guy on the phone was like, yes sir, we know, was it *pile of numbers @something*? No, it was a different one. He continued with an exasperated whine that thank you, you are the third person to report it today. We already know. THIRD PERSON? IN THE WHOLE WORLD? God I cant believe you people keep calling about this. Its like come on. The first time was helpful, but by the third person in the entire world calling, its getting old. I just wanted to be helpful )+
