Today I got the great joy to be able to spend some time in a place that I have wanted to visit for a number of years. Even before I returned to my own paintbrushes I have admired the amazing talent of Robert Duncan. This morning as we returned home from our 5 week camping adventure I noticed as we approached Salt Lake City that our navigation was sending us around through Hebert City. I couldnt help but noticed just how close we were to Midway, Utah and the gallery of Robert Duncan. To make our visit even more special the gallery was filled with his original works and not just prints because he is celebrating 50 years of painting. His wife Linda greeted us warmly and we talked about his art and camping in Yellowstone along with a number of other topics. What a wonderful few minutes we spent gazing on so many beautiful pieces.
