Today, I got up at 6:00 am and ate breakfast with my new Adventures by Disney friends at the hotel. Afterwards, we got a tour of TCL Chinese (formerly Graumans Chinese Theater) and then a tour of Jim Hensons Studios. While there, I got a photo holding an Emmy Award. It was great to see how they do the puppeteering and the history of the studio back to Charlie Chaplain. I took a ton of photos! After that, we are lunch (prime rib) at the Tam O Shanter, Walts favorite restaurant. While there I saw, sat in, and took a photo sitting in Walts favorite booth. Next was a visit to Walt Disneys Carolwood Train Barn. It was moved there and preserved as the home of not only his hobby trains but the birthplace of Walt Disney Imagineering. In addition to the barn, I got to visit one of the original Disneyland train cars (the Combine). I took plenty of pics but I also got one of me holding a Disney Legends award! I ended the tour day with a ice cream social at Ghirardellis on Hollywood Boulevard. After dessert, I walked to In-and-Out Burger for dinner (ordering a Double Double and fries, animal style). It came recommended by Jason, one of my Adventures by Disney guides along with Summer-Rose).
