Today I had a conversation with one of my students, a teacher who has been on the job for 27 years in a private school in one of the most affluent areas in Southern California. The topic turned to parents, and in a very frustrated tone the teacher said Why cant parents say no to their children? - What she said next rely blew me away They think if they say no they will spoil their future. Is that scary or what??? Children in control of their parents....we face this dilemma on a daily basis, but its hard to find that balance. Two professions that are the hardest in my opinion: Teachers and Pastors.
