Today I had a message from a very upset owner, they bought their horse off us a few weeks back and already love him dearly and he is one of the family A lady had contacted them saying she knew this horse as her friend used to own it. They had given it to who they think was the girlfriend of clover barn( thats me and we havent taken on any companions) as a companion as he had problems that meant he could no longer be ridden. They also told them they had been scammed and our advert was all lies!! Luckily they had the courtesy to contact us and tell us of these messages and ask our opinion I was then able to put their minds at rest by putting them in touch with the real old owner who had owned him for the past three years and confirm , he has never made a lame step! Either these people are out to cause trouble or they genuinely have the wrong horse! However either way I wish people would get their facts right before doing this, even if this was genuine this poor family have been put through worry and stress for no reason at all.
