Today I had another awesome Brooklyn experience. I swear I love this city. There is no place like it. Even with gentrification! Lol. Getting off the A train at Jay Street a middle aged Dominican woman approaches me and asks if she could pray for me. I was taken back a little and she told me she meant no harm but she wanted to pray for me because she wanted me to be blessed and protected by God. I said okay and she started to pray for me in Spanish. Just beautiful. Absolutely beautiful!! When I asked her why she felt compelled to pray for me she said I pray for God to bless you because you told those boys to give their seats to the senior citizen and speak with respect. I pray that God blesses you and protects you. I love Brooklyn!! Mayor Deblasio please create some new laws to make rent affordable. This city cant afford to lose angels like Ms. Ruiz. Thank you Mrs. Ruiz :-)
