Today I had my monthly appointment with the Fairview Doctor for my shot and typical bloodwork. At my last appointment I found out my oncologist I have had since I was first diagnosed with cancer in 2011 was leaving to do work in Nigeria. I was not looking forward to saying goodbye at this appointment...I wouldve never thought I would be sad about a doctor leaving. Needless to say there were tears today saying goodbye. (I could still cry thinking about it) ANYWAY...I was then sent down to have a consultation with the radiation doctor. Lucky me, I get to start that on Monday! It is a 15 minute process and from the sounds of it I will go daily for 6 weeks. That should be interesting to add into my already busy schedule. (It is important thought and I will make it happen!) Finally, still recovering from my surgery Thursday. I didnt think it was going to be a big deal but this one totally kicked my butt. Not quite sure why?! Well, that is all for now! Melissa
