Today I had the absolute privilege of hand delivering the petition with a whopping 14000 online and paper signatures to Carál Ní Chuilín, the Northern Ireland Minister for Culture Arts and Leisure at Stormont. The Minister was presented with the book the campaign made to capture your stories and photographs of what the Ulster Orchestra means to you. She was truly lovely, she listened and read, she took the time to look through the book with me for a short while and we had a photograph which I hope to share with you tomorrow. We are delighted with Belfast City Councils generosity and hope that it spurs others who are able to help to step forward to help to save the Ulster Orchestra.
