Today I had the honor of celebrating my brother Leo Canada Jr. 60th birthday. He is the oldest of five, he has always been there for the rest of the family. I remember the early years of our childhood, it was Leo who drove the trucks when our parents both became disabled. Learning how to run the family business that my father had started enabled us to stay together as a family. Taking us to the movies, sharing his money and making sure we were all okay became his responsibility. It was one he did with love and kindness. We grew up not having much but our parents taught us the value of family unity in Christ. Leo often walked us to and from church; pave the way for us at school and protected us from those who would do us harm. Still today our big brother is there for each of us in our time of need. Leo, Jr. as we affectionately call him is a God fearing man who believes in family. Please join with me and my family to wish my brother a Happy Birthday.
