Today, I had the honor to read a Certificate of Recognition to Anne’s Hallmark, on the occasion of celebrating 35 victorious years of outstanding service to the citizens of Chesapeake, and the Hampton Roads. Our City Council brings full recognition to Connie Huston Tucker, the Matriarch of Anne’s Hallmark; her children, Terry Walsh, Joanie Michaud and Doug Huston and Donna O’ Sullivan and the Anne’s Hallmark staff for your dedicated and excellent service. For 35 years, you have brought to Chesapeake an overwhelming Spirit of charity and compassion, serving from vision to enlightenment, while always displaying the highest standards of personal and professional integrity and dedication in the community. Your trusted name, remarkable achievements and outreach spreads from city to city. Your generous contributions of love have touched the lives of many untold. Also, I wanted to acknowledge all of her friends, including Congressman Randy and Shirley Forbes and Sheriff Jim O’ Sullivan. Again, congratulations to Anne’s Hallmark on this significant milestone and may your paths be filled with simple joys and blessings without end.
