Today I had the most amazing interview with Dr. Joe Olson, the President of UCC. We had been having a hard time connecting, mostly because he is incredibly busy, but eventually he came to me, here at the Mainstream. And not only did he let me interview him on an important topic, but he showed a genuine interest in who I was as a human being. Then he started telling me a story about another former student and he got so emotional about it that he was literally on the verge of tears. I was blown away, not only by his interest in who I was, but also because he was so trusting with his emotions. He made himself so vulnerable and I was just in awe of the guy. He is such a genuine human being and I feel blessed just being able to spend a little time in his presence. #humility #amazed
