Today I had the most exciting elevator experience, but it was even - TopicsExpress

Today I had the most exciting elevator experience, but it was even better since instead of a 30 sec elevator ride I got an entire 120min with Dr. Colin Campell. For years he has studied the effects of certain macronutrients as it relates to cancer onset, proliferation, metastasis and potential remission. He shows over multiple studies, the largest being the famous china study, how the incidence of cancer is directly correlated (increases) to milk (80% casein which is main source in animal protein) consumption. From this he proposes a whole food diet approach were animal protein becomes lower in priority as would plant based proteins, therefore having a macronutrient distribution were protein would fall somewhere between 8-12% of total calories consumed. In a room with majority oncologists, pediatricians, physicians, surgeons (dietitians only three not sure why) he was bold enough to say that it is a myth that chemo and meds cure cancer, nutrition cures cancer (I think he was trying to get their attention). Undoubtedly it was a fascinating and insightful experience and there is way more to it than what I can post here. Therefore my advice, as it usually is, be balanced and stay nourished; eat thinking about those who have none to eat, and feed your body like you would feed your child or most loved one. Happy to share more! Cheers! - K
