Today I had the pleasure of seeing and trying a Black Rain Ordnance trigger assembly. I wanted to compare it to my Geissele S3G (Super 3 Gun) trigger. I have had great success with my Geissele in the past and choose this particular one for several reasons. It is a single stage, light pull with a short travel and reset. I had talked with my BRO rep earlier about their trigger and he promised me I wouldnt be disappointed. Fast forward to today.. WOW!!! First the S3G trigger install was fairly easy but still had a separate trigger and hammer components. The BRO trigger is a single unit, easier to drop in. The travel of the BRO trigger is approx 1/8, the Geissele is nearly double that, both had smooth triggers but the BRO is approx .5 lbs lighter in pull and the S3G has a cost of around $260ish... The BRO is $199!!! Dont get me wrong, the Geissele triggers are great and I have no issues with them... But the BRO trigger was even shorter, lighter AND cheaper. Please let me know if you are interested in one. I will do a special now of $205 OTD!!
