Today, I had the wonderful opportunity to come across these images. As I stared at them, curiosity crept into me. I was curious not only about what it must be like to live as they do, but also curiosity about my own life, beliefs and perceptions. These are all tribes living in remote corners of the world. They dont utilize the modern amenities that we do. Cars, microwave ovens, cable TV, internet, and in some cases, indoor plumbing. Their housing are extremely modest. Some of you probably cant imagine living as they do, and thats okay. For some who look at these photos, they may see people who live a harsh life. But as I looked at these photos, I dont see tribes who struggle, I saw tribes who thrive. I saw tribes that are proud, beautiful and strong. But thats there and you are here. Thats their life, and you have yours. Heres a thought, however. Though you live in a modern world, your views might not be that different from theirs. Were all humans, and we all go though the same emotions. From East to West, North to South; certain factors about life span the globe. Happiness, sadness, strength, pride, are all shared by every man, woman and child. So, what the question boils down to is; what makes YOU happy? What makes YOU feel strong? What makes YOU proud?
