Today, I have been in Rudi & Madison in Greystones, where my dear friend Kelly has her new shop....I now have new clothes, helped by Kelly, who has the eye, cos I have the fashion eye of, well, a bewildered sheep. Am a trial to my sons who see me heading out the house to take them to school or other places in my writing clothes, which look a bit mad artist who should be locked in room. But Kelly, who is a wonderful soul sister, explains what goes with what and what makes me look modern and what makes me look like I dressed in the dark. Honestly, the new black jeans... janey mac, I love them, Kelly. I have short legs and in these jeans, they look, almost, long. bliss. I had many plans today - still have to do grocery shopping. HATE grocery shopping. The fridge clearly has a monster in there eating all the stuff because one moment its full, the next, its empty. I did mean to get a load of emails done but well, am channelling Scarlett O Hara here: tomorrow is another day. Oh yes, Dylan and I were to make bread, having loved the Bake Off bread show but have to get strong flour first.... I mean, ciabatta cant be that hard, right? Any good bread recipe sites, folks? ooooh am reading.... in middle of Sheila OFlanagans new book. Was lazy bones and stayed in bed this morning glued to it. You can see how nothing ever gets done in this house. Whatcha all reading? And please tell me Im the only person who lets Sunday get away from them till its late and you have to make dinner, sort out school uniforms and make lunches... xxxxC
