Today I have received calls from four different callers and two inbox massages asking my expectations and the position I would like to contest at this coming provincial congress in our MDC-T SA province and I was made to believe that they are not the only people asking this question, so thought its better to send the response to many before my inbox is flooded by the same questions. 1. On my expectation my answer is: I expect to see a rejuvenated leadership of SA province that will meet a lot of the expectations of our province come 2018. I expect to see 100% clear on Tsvangirai leadership commissioned by the province to take them not only to the October national congress but also to the next level. 2. On the position that I would like to contest: I would not like to campaign for any position as this makes me look like I am looking for work, the people I have been with in the struggle knows me better than my personal ambitions, they know not only me but also many other leaders of our movement they can trust with their offices, so I will leave it to them to decide who they want to give whichever position at any level in the province. I am not against those who are campaigning for positions because politics is voluntary work, so choosing where you think you can do better is fine, but not giving room to the owners of the movement I think it’s not tolerance. If people send me, I will not refuse but I will never ask for people to vote for me for a particular position as they have hundreds of thousands of able leaders to select just a few from. I also believe there are many very good and capable leaders who can take my movement to better heights. This is my honest answer to all who might want to ask the same question.
