Today I have several questions I would like to ask you. Are you - TopicsExpress

Today I have several questions I would like to ask you. Are you still excited about Christ as you were when you first gave Him your life? Has your excitement increased? Are you ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Have you lost your motivation? Have you forgotten where you were when Christ picked you up? So often in our lives, we forget the miraculous work God performed in us. We become successful (in the worldly tense) and act as though we never needed deliverance. We become high and mighty. Egotistical and self-righteous. You no longer engage in simple conversation with friends. So holy, but no earthly good. Does this sound like anyone you know? Does this sound like you? My friend, Are You Still On Fire For the Lord? Are you still in love with the Lord? Have you become what you once hated? Are you stuck on you? Do you work for God’s glory or man’s recognition? The Bible declares in Revelation 2:4 - Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Many times we surround ourselves by people who speak Christ but live demonic. We know people who claim to love the Lord, but complain about everything the Lord created. You do know that God loves you … right? Are You Still On Fire For the Lord? Do you still witness to others about the Lord’s goodness (Acts 1:8)? Do you still testify about what the Lord has done for you (Revelation 12:11)? Do people have to pay you to praise the Lord (Luke 19:40)? Are your sermons on sale (Colossians 3:23)? Are You Still On Fire For the Lord? Do you still have that glow in your eye? Do you still get excited when you hear the name JESUS? Do you still rush to get to church, or do you drag yourself there (Psalms 122:1)? I understand how it is to get tired at times. I know how it feels to want to give up. You feel the weight of the world on your shoulders. You think no one understands your pain. Dear friend, you have tried to walk away from the things of God. You tried to lay in bed longer than usual. You refused to read your Bible or pray. (just say ouch!) The Bible declares in Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, I will not make mention of Him, nor speak any more in His name. But His word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. You want to quit but you cannot. You want to walk away but you will not. Are You Still On Fire For the Lord? Thought to Remember: The fire within you should burn for the one who died for you!
