Today I helped my son-in-law get a couch delivered to his and my granddaughters apartment. I picked up Tay to go with me. When we stopped by my house to pick up my guitar for practice at church tonight she came into the house and turned the radio to Q104 and it was very loud. I just chuckled and basked in the music. Its amazing how life will mellow you. Its too soon gone. Enjoy your kids and grandkids while there is still time. If they leave a few toys around, just sort of gently move them out of the way. If the music is a little too loud enjoy it with them. Be a yes parent or grandparent as much as you possibly can. Get down and crawl around with them on the floor. Splash through mudpuddles with them. Ride bicycles with them and take nature walks. Later we stopped by Circle R to have a snack. She likes to shop as any red blooded American girl does so we stopped by CVS pharmacy so she could pick up an Amazon Card to order a kindle accessory. Cherish and relish the times you have with them. Make memories and bond with them while they are young. The most important things in life are not things. Its relationships and the love we share with others. Taylor will be 10 years old next month and Trevor will be 13. In a few years they will be driving and will want to spend time with the friends in their peer groups. Many times the destination is in the journey.
