Today, I introduced two bills to ensure our students have the necessary skills for the manufacturing jobs right here in Connecticut. A few weeks ago, I held a roundtable discussion in Waterbury to meet with business leaders, educators, and manufacturers. Because of their ideas and concerns, I introduced these two bills to support engineering programs in colleges and universities and to boost opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
