Today I learned that newer NorthstarV8 Cadillacs burn oil like crazy. A quart every 4000km in a 2008 with 80k km on it. The guy of course is like well its a high performance engine... gm designed it like that so it could lubricate the cylinder walls by coming through the rings. Now.. Im no performance engine builder, but 350hp is not worth that much oil consumption. And if thats the case, how bad are the thousand hp engines??? 6 litres of oil an hour?
