Today I learned with great sadness of the death of two former colleagues. Stanley Hodge, who was my sergeant when I arrived as a raw probationer and later my Inspector. One of lives true gentlemen and the best Supervisor I knew in the service. A man I tried to emulate but never came close. Terry Galvin my sergeant when I was posted to Slaithwate in 1971, and with whom I shared many laughs and adventures when I was learning what true policing was all about. God bless you both. Rest in Peace.
