Today, I not only reached a personal goal, but more importantly, I was able to fulfill a promise I made to my mom before she passed away. I am officially a Sergeant in the United States Army and I have to say, that without you mom, I probably wouldnt of found the motivation or determination to make it happen. I was at a time of great depression and all I wanted to do was be home by your side. But it was your last words spoken to me and your dream to see me achieve and live up to my potential that pushed me to this point. So, this, mom, is for you. I know that youre so very happy and proud of me from up there. I love you and miss you so much and I wish you could of been here to see it.
