Today I question morality God said in stone - thou shalt no kil - TopicsExpress

Today I question morality God said in stone - thou shalt no kil twice in fact because first time the stones were destroyed So move along a bit and all of a sudden we have various tests, Shoulld I kill my son? because god said so? surely that is not the same god that said - NO KILLING or is it just me that questions a commandment and does not see it as a false god testing peoples resolve and commitment to embrace barbaric acts against a clear commandment - Do not KILL? So humanity that has embraced an Abrahamic religeon [there are many who have embraced more peaceful religeon remember] decides to skip the moral issue and just accept he almost killed his son and was stopped at the last moment and given a Ram to what? Kill you say but god said do not KILL so there must be a moral dilemah and a trial by the Devil which Abraham almost looses but still falls on his sword to disobey god. Move on a bit - Jesus son of god, no one in their right mind would kill your own children - and then advocate cannibalism - so surley this is a test against humanity to see if they would reject a clealry immoral act based on the principles of goodness and kindness and the first law of god - though shalt not KILL - if any of you did this in civil society you would be jailed for life and in USA get the electric chair for that act, so now we are led to beieve that all this murder and wanton violence stabbing, beating and incarceration is the Will of god - How is this not the same Deity that advocates non violence has now embraced extreme violance beyond imagaination - does no one see this as a cunning ploy to brainash people [and very succesfully I might add] to lead a truly immoral life in the guise of fake morality? Cannibalism is illegal in evry country in the world but it is advocated in almost 45 000 churches and christian religeons, surely this is an immoral concept that has no base in civilised society least of all one where god advocates to humanity - do not kill? I think people must start to take individual resonsibility and understand the problems start with individual belief and acceptance. This in itself will lead to a moral judgement about allowing our leaders to lead us to war or to commiting other acts against a moral code on our behalf - stop war become a moral person and understand that their is only right and wrong and not a god sanctioned grey area of immoral behaviour. - A god that said thou shalt no kill would clealry not do that to us - or am I worng here?
