Today I reached the Everest of my 46th year, and began the climb of my 47th. I am surrounded by a brilliant blue but rocky ocean. Its hard to believe that 50 is just around the corner. This year past has had its share of ups and downs, triumphs and defeats, pains and joys just like every year past. I find myself grateful. Grateful for love, for family for friends who are like family. I have learn, oh how I have learned, most times the hard way. I take stock of it all and I can say, without hesitation, that God has surely been good to me, I am blessed more than I deserve. We spent this day of my birth climbing beautiful waterfalls in a rain forest in San Juan, I spent the day with people I love, doing things I love, and logged on here to find more people I love stopping by to wish me happiness. I would say it has been an extraordinary day. I have been thinking about my goals for this next year of my life, and I think its time to get out of my comfort zone and live a little fuller in this 47th year ahead.
