Today I received a very special gift in the mail from a very dear & equally special friend who lives in Scotland. Weve penned each other letters, postcards & random fun bits back n forth regularly for a few years now. Earlier this summer he came to the states (NYC) on vacation along with his mum of whom he sent here on an all expense paid dream vacation not including the little detail that he would be surprising & joining her here to spend a few weeks exploring NYC & spending some quality time together. He arrived a few days prior to her & I was lucky enough to get to New York despite a few obstacles that almost stood in the way of meeting & spending the day with my amazing friend whom Ive come to care about so fondly these past few years. It was such a wonderful & fun day that I also got to share with 2 other very special friends (Olivia & Mamakin ♡) & a day I wont soon forget. Sooooo.... Today I received a flipping awesome photo album containing the stunning images my friend took while visiting NYC. Theyre the most beautiful & amazing images Ive seen of the city in quite some time. He is an exceptional photographer who really should do many many books * hint hint. I admire & am often left in awe by some of his images.
