Today I received news that felt as if somebody punched me straight in the stomach. Sitting there listening to the news, my mind started going in circles, than on the drive back to Lakeland, I was reminded that even when we receive bad news, God is still in control. This is when the rubber meets the road; faith wise. Who will I trust! Man or God! In this case without a shadow of a doubt, I choose to trust in God. He is the only thing in my life that has remained true and constant and as I posted earlier this morning in my morning devotional, the words by Billy Graham have come even more to life; “Think of the blessings we so easily take for granted; Life itself, preservation from danger; every bit of health we enjoy; every hour of liberty; ability to see, to hear, to speak, to think and to imagine all this comes from the hand of God. To God be the glory, in good times, in bad times, at all times”!
