Today I received some news that ripped the rug right out from under me. I dont mean to be cryptic or vague, I just cannot reveal this news publicly, yet...its potentially life altering/shocking for several people, but know that myself and my family are all heathy and in no danger of any kind. As I allow it all to set in, I cannot help but be grateful for the love and I support from my husband, children and a few wonderful friends. No matter what happens in life, we can always find a bright spot and things to be grateful for! Its important to focus less on the negative and more on the positive. I am also grateful to Connie for helping me through an anxiety attack when I received the news during our breakfast meeting, for my daughter, Kirsten, who despite her young age had very wise words for me and for my therapist, whom I was scheduled to see today anyway! Talk about good luck! Anyway, with so many incredible people behind me, I know I will come out on the other side just fine!
