Today I rediscovered the Beatles. After being prompted by a video posted on here about the remaking of Sgt Pepper, i pulled out my cds of the original beatles albums help, revolver, beatles for sale, hard days night, abbey road and with the beatles. I ripped them all to a usb stick and have been listening while driving around in my car. I dont think i ever fully appreciated their genius at the time, but listening to them after all these years it is easy to hear why they are widely accepted as the greatest pop group of all. The songs, the innovative production and the comparative simplicity of it all is simply breathtaking. Their music took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride remembering when i was a very small boy, the joy of being young and the sadness of suddenly realizing how many years have passed. It saddens me that the youth of today dont have a john paul george and ringo or really any music or group that could hold a candle to the fab 4
