Today I saw a Four engine aircraft that looked from a distance like a DC-4 doing continuous approaches at Hickory Airport. My thoughts are it was the FAA checking the ILS. The last time I saw an aircraft like that doing the same thing it was the FAA doing just that! So I assume I am correct. Any comments on my assumption? It could have been an Neptune Orion, Perhaps? It did have a long stinger from its tail... ??? What do ya think???
