Today, I spied something completely horrid. I waited to post this because l, as most of you know, I seldom wain negative. I went into the local convenience store a there was a display of bunches of flowers (mums) for sale. They were sprayed with some sort of coloring to dye them bright, un- natural colors colors which occur in nature only on hummingbirds and tropical fish under ultra-violet lighting. I have seen this before, and usually just shake my head. As I got closer, I could see someone, in a failed attempt to increase the natural beauty of this flower, had also sprinkled bright-blue, metalic glitter on the blossoms, and put drops of what I believe is some sort of acrylic on the leaves to resemble drops of dew. In a just world, this person, the inventor or this beautification, would be strung up by their heels and beaten with bamboo poles.
