Today I spoke to a prospect about why her law firm needs a Strategic Marketing plan. This particular firm specializes in Real Estate and has been around for about 10 years but is struggling to grow and cannot seem to figure out how to compete with some of their direct competitors. So I asked her why her clients needed an architect before they started construction on any new projects. She seemed astonished by my question. She said, the architect is the trained professional who is really quite central to the development of both the planning and the design components that form the basis for the construction of a building. In short, without the architect, a lot of things can go wrong. Well, I said, that sounds a lot like a Strategic Marketing plan. A strategic marketing plan is a comprehensive blueprint which outlines an organizations overall marketing efforts. Without one, a lot of things can go wrong. She got it. And I now have a new client.
