Today I took 2 boys to see a halfway house in Martin county, The truth is I am an interventionist, All my Job is GET THEM TO TREATMENT, but treatment is not over when insurance company says No more Inpatient. Its on to the next phase, the next step. Intensive outpatient along with a private therapist, Meetings, Sponsor and Network with others in recovery. NOT GO HOME, Next Phase of treatment for a FATAL DISEASE. And as far as my experience has brought me. Where the others are sending their patients promotes relapse instead of Recovery, So its Relapse capitol and time to look elsewhere. Today is Sunday and I spent the day with 2 amazing guys who were listening to my suggestions and learning about recovering instead of crying to mommy to take me home when the last words they left mommy with was F-U. you can talk the talk , but can you really walk the walk?
