Today, I took 2008 Docent and resident artist Marge Mayotte-Hirn and her daughter, visiting from Portland, on a guided nature hike in Monrovia Canyon Park (MCP). Marge got lots of photos of the many CA Natives seen in the park. This photo was taken at the 1,500 summit of MCPs newly opened Overlook Trail. We were on the trail for over two hours which included a visit to our picturesque waterfall. Marges daughter told me our hike was the hi-lite of her visit to So Cal.
