Today I trespassed one final time on the CGC lands. To me it felt like someone got left behind, so I went over and gathered the mares remains. I transported them to the dyke. I had a bit of sage so I smudged the spot where she died, said a prayer and left for good this time. I became quite emotional, but as I left the dyke I felt a tremendous sense of closure. Maybe this will help others find the same closure. This terrible chapter is finally over, its time to heal, time to move on. We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us.
