Today I turned 28. Yesterday I was walking trough the mist in the small italian ancient city all night long, ending up in an arabic shisha place and falling asleep there. Before that I gave a speech at festival of social photography. It was very important point for me. I decided not to give up, nonwithstanding financial and personal troubles, which follow me all the time. I decided to continue doing what I am doing. Exersising photography as any other creative practice is the best way to exersize the freedom, and it is already worth an existing. The same is valid for freedom of movement in the space and freedom of love. Three important things which keep me alive. If I lose these freedoms - I am dead. I passed an important point (many poets, artists etc. killed themselves or died when they were 27. 28 is already a safe zone when you have no choice but keep going So, fully forward, and lets rock-n-roll. I am as free and inspired as ever). I have something else important to say to my friends. I keep struggling to create new works and to make a new step forth in photography. Recent year I was busy with a project Bijlmer: Atlas of People and Birds, which is experimental even for me. Here is a video of a dummy at my exhibition, the real one will be even better - youtube/watch?v=aSHy7r1jHqs In December a new book is coming.
