Today, I visited our local orphanage (not the first time) but was just there to deliver some goodies for a friend. I picked up a 5 month old crying baby and asked where her mother was - the baby was quite happy to be in my arms not that I know anything about babies anymore and playing quietly nearby a little boy, couldnt guess his age (2 -4 yrs), but could see he has been thru some severe trauma. They told me he was to appear in Kinderhof today and had 2 appear without shoes and he had been so scared, he had weed in his shoes and they couldnt get the smell out. I assured him it was going 2 be alright and he just kept smiling. What are we doing to our children in this country? Or allowing others 2? It breaks my heart! What can we do to help? This orphanage made such an impact on my heart ... we have 2 help even if it is just 2 support those who work there. WATCH THIS SPACE I FOUND https://facebook/pages/Knysna-Cares/723869594305714 this PAGE is for Knysna/Plett/Sedgefield (Knysna Greater Area) we need to get involved and whatever we do, no matter how BIG or small we WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
