Today, I voted for the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations bill (HR 240) that included several important anti-amnesty amendments that defund the President’s Executive overreach on immigration and also stop DACA – the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program – from granting deferred action to millions of illegal immigrants. Furthermore, this bill boosts border security and interior enforcement, which is especially important for Texas and the overall security of our nation.
