Today I walk. I walk surrounded by family who has also suffered the effects of Chiari Malformation. Today I walk to spread awareness that this DOES exist, to educate not only the general public but the medical "professionals" who either have no clue what Chiari is or know so little that we suffer years of misdiagnoses and poor care, to help fund advancing research on how we can cure Chiari instead of just praying that surgical interventions will keep our symptoms at bay. I walk because I AM a fighter & more than what ACM1 tries to take away from me! Thank you to everyone 4 your support through donations, your words & especially my family & friends for always loving & understand me!
