Today I want to take a moment to thank all teachers for the long hours they spend working to educate us and our children. I know when you leave school you are correcting papers at home, buying your own supplies for the kids in many cases, taking calls from parents, and more. One of my high school math teachers suddenly & unexpectedly passed away earlier this week leaving my community STUNNED. He was young. He seemed healthy. He was in shape. Its hard to wrap my head around. Even when he wasnt my math teacher, he spent many mornings tutoring me in the subject. He had a million other things to do, but he took the time to care about MY future and MY grasp on the subject. Today, Paul Zacherl will be laid to rest. A loving father, husband, and teacher. To all teachers out there, know you are appreciated and you DO make a difference every day.
