Today I want to talk about one of my HEROES! Chris Lougheed, I met this man when I was 18 years old, we worked at a special education school. At the time, he was a teacher and I was a teachers assistant. I must admit, first thing I thought was this is a crazy cowboy!! Lol Soon after, I heard that he started seeing a co-worker, a beautiful petite Latina, with the sweetest demeanor! Then I thought wow, they are complete opposites, he must REALLY believe in GOD to get that blessing!! LOL I worked with them for several years, left for 10 years and returned back 2 years ago. Now Chris and Sylvia have a beautiful son and had been together over 20 years! Chris and Sylvia took up a passion for fitness during that time I was away and they both looked phenomenal, so we all took up our friendship right where it left off. Then tragedy struck! Sylvs was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and returned home this past summer. There couldnt have been a better picture of true love, if it was scripted! During this time of the fight and after, Chris has shown me the TRUE MEANING OF LIFE, LOVE, BELIEF, and STRENGTH!! He has taken his life and their sons life in stride and hasnt missed a beat on getting the most out of life, ALL WHILE including Sylvs in every moment, with the KNOWLEDGE THAT SHE IS STILL PRESENT!!! Its one thing to believe it, its another thing to KNOW IT!! Chris has channelled his energy into improving his physical and spiritual well being to the point that his outer is reflecting his inner, so when you see these pictures Im posting, NOW YOU HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF WHERE THE STRENGTH CAME FROM TO BUILD THIS TEMPLE!!! Chris you are my brother in spirit and you are my HERO!! I LOVE YOU BRO!!
