Today I was asked about Ialdabaoth, for I rarely think of this - TopicsExpress

Today I was asked about Ialdabaoth, for I rarely think of this mythological character except when I personalize principles in writing teaching stories: Chief Archon and creator, implementer and preserver of thinking patterns and of restrictive social, political and religious belief systems and other systems of metaphor that control through judgement, shame and fear. Although those systems seem to change, they just alter their names and rearrange their pieces, for they remain thoughts of the same thinker. The spectrum of the dream oscillates from the pleasant to the unbearable as long as no one awakes. Awake, and the binding chains are broken. The thinker and the thought are seen for what they are. The game is up. Sophias veils have fallen. ~Rosamonde Ikshvàku Miller
