Today I was at the store and noticed a little girl, her mom and her two other kids, who could not afford everything they had (3 items) in their cart. The items were cheap nothing extravagant. The little girl (oldest of the three) had to put back her item, a pink pillow almost in tears but holding it in, so her mom wouldnt notice and so that the other kids could get what they wanted. My heart told me they were good people, a single mom doing her best to support her family with the simplest of things. Cheap things but thats all the kids needed. No iPad, no video games, no cell phones....a pink pillow. They paid for the few items and left. I noticed the pink pillow, set aside, bought that pink pillow and ran out to catch the mother with her kids. The mom and little girls reaction was indescribable, full of love, happiness, saddest, shock, a very emotional experience. I didnt do it for my satisfaction but to bring hope to someone, let them know there still is good out there. I am fortunate, the very least I can do. So wake up tomorrow and do something positive, big or small. Make a difference, smile and be kind and pass it on. Goodnight my friends.
