Today I was filling my prescription at the local walgreens and was walking out with a smile on my face as usual when I saw a women, bundled up in a tarp with nothing. I gave her a smile and hopped in my car. Ten minutes later I went back hoping she was still there since it was pouring and freezing cold outside. I spotted her and pulled up right next to her with the car still on and her sad face looked as if she was confused as I greeted her and handed her a hot metal cup of coffee, fetachini Alfredo as well as a bag of socks, gloves, candy, food and beer. I love helping others even if its just something small. This experience was THE highlight if my Saturday, the best part is I saw her again hours later and I had an extra dollar so I bought her a twix for dessert. So remember you can bring happiness to others and yourself by just doing something small and if you have an extra dollar or two spend it on a stranger or even grab something in your cabinet it makes such a big difference in the life of others.
