Today I was honored to not only attend my sons graduation from the West Virginia State Police Academy but also stand on the very stage I walked across so many years ago and present him with his certificate. I am very proud of Paden and also each and every other member of the 159th and they all should be proud of themselves because they are now members of a select group of individuals who can say they made it through some of the toughest law enforcement training in the nation. Even though the past few months have been hard on my entire family there was no doubt in my mind that Paden would make it to this day. In fact Paden deserves a pat on the back because not only did he have to deal with what was going on at home he had to do it while being away at the academy. Congratulations Paden your entire family is proud of you.
