Today, I was inspired by a Student who took part in Beat the stig. This particular student may not necessarily be the best, or fastest! But you could tell he was enjoying his drive around the top gear test track in a detuned micra! Even more so when his time was put on the leaderboard! Wasnt only me who noticed it though, and after his run he got a massive round of applause! The sense of pleasure from seeing something so simple and silly like the competition, bringing a smile and enjoyment to that 1 person (And others of course) makes it all worth while! This is the very reason I do the competition, a sense of fun, to raise a bit of money and most of all to put a smile on students faces! Nothing better than seeing people being happy and enjoying their lives. :)
